About Us
Divine Tactics Mission (DTM) launched its first food-drive initiative in Houston, Texas in 2025 with a clear vision: to bring hope and nourishment to our community by connecting generous hearts with neighbors in need.
At DTM, we believe that when one plate is full, our whole community thrives. Hunger isn’t just about empty stomachs—it’s about missed opportunities, stress, instability, and the unseen struggles faced quietly in our neighborhoods. We’re committed to stepping in, meeting people where they are, and providing real-food support with dignity, respect, and love.
Our purpose
To mobilize individuals, families, faith groups, schools, and businesses in the Houston area to rally around the cause of food-security.
To collect, sort, and distribute nutritious, shelf-stable foods and essential staples that lighten the burden on households and free up resources for other basic needs.
To raise awareness about the prevalence of food insecurity in our city, and to inspire community-wide partnerships that turn compassion into action.
Why Houston?
Houston is a vibrant, growing city full of potential. Yet like all large metropolitan areas, it also faces real challenges — including the fact that too many residents are just one paycheck, one medical bill, or one emergency away from food stress. We chose to begin here in 2025 because we believe in leveraging local energy, existing networks, and community spirit to make a measurable, positive difference.
What We Do
Host periodic food drives and drop-off events across Houston, each centered on a “most wanted” list of high-need items (e.g., whole-grain pasta, canned vegetables/fruit, low-sodium items, peanut butter).
Partner with neighborhood centers, faith-based organizations, and schools to establish collection points and engage volunteers.
Sort, package, and deliver nutritious foods and staples directly to families, seniors, or community hubs that serve as trusted outlets.
